Project Summary

Project Aim

Promote equal access to education for all refugees and Sudanese IDPs in camps areas and affected areas.

Enhancing educational opportunities for children, youth and women in refugee and displaced camps to build a community that contributes to the sustainable development process.

Project Target

In this regard, NMSO in its strategic plan targeted the refugees and displaced people who are forced by civil war from Sudan’s neighbouring countries to settle in provincial areas of the country, these groups are meant to be sensitized and be socially alleviated from the trauma of wars.

Project Partners

Concerned authorities such as  Ministry of Education and the local government, in addition to coordination within the camps.

Expected results of the project

  • This axis includes contributing to creating a stable environment in order to educate children and prepare them for life.
  • Ensure that most of the displaced children and youth are accommodated in various levels of education.
  • Ensure that all refugees and displaced Sudanese have access to education.

Project outputs

  • Carrying out sports, cultural, artistic and recreational activities.
  • Improve mental abilities such as focus attention.
  • Helping the people of the camps in improving the environment.
  • Training students to love work appreciate handicrafts and respect workers.
  • We are working to strengthen the concept of the good citizen in the hearts and the development of societies.

Capabilities to ensure the success of the project

The ability of the organization to coordinate between the concerned authorities such as the Commission for Refugees Affairs in Sudan and stakeholders, cooperation from the Government of Sudan and joint procedures between the executive authority according to the budget prepared for the project and in accordance with the financial value that helps the success of the work and the use of flexible means to complete the project.

Implementation methodology

The adopted methodology is networking and cooperation between the competent authorities, evaluation, follow-up of the ways in which the success of the project and serious coordination between the local and service authority inside the camp and the areas of the displaced, in addition to creating relationships with the authorities of the camps or the authorities responsible for guidance inside the camps of the displaced, Sudan citizens or Refugees. In addition to prior coordination with the executive bodies of the project in the organization, the Executive Office.
